Bio Susanne came to ISNM with the profound experience of ten years as the executive manager of a dental technology firm. Desiring to move on into a different professional direction, she found it helpful to take many of the principles of her business education and experience and transfer them to her studies at ISNM, like a sincere openness and respect toward others’ approaches and contributions, or a very structured approach toward problem solving. Susanne spent her studies abroad at ISNM’s Australian partner university, the University of Queensland in Brisbane, studying with Prof. Michael Docherty. Her thesis focused on computer supported collaborative work which she seeks to develop further.
She worked with the ISNM on the school’s project with the World Bank on community radio, which ISNM alumnus Martin Mathis Stumpf of her generation had initiated. She contributes to the project as the pedagogical expert in the Learning Module. Upon conclusion of the World Bank project, she plans to pursue her PhD in Australia.
