Founded in 2000, we are located in the beautiful north of Germany near the Baltic Sea.

Luebeck kaempft für seine Uni. The government of Schleswig-Holstein plans to close the medical study program at the University of Luebeck. This severely endangers the existing of our new research group, which cooperates mainly with members of the medical faculty. The ISNM is in danger as well and we strongly support any activity to stop this plan. Please help www.luebeck-kaempft.de

BMBF Project GBASH In cooperation with the Design Factory in Hamburg and Jiaotong University in Shanghai, the ISNM performs the GBASH project, funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The project will run from 2009 - 2011. Core target is to establish the German Brand Academy Shanghai.

BMBF Project SmartAssist The ISNM is part of a research team with the SmartAssist project. Smart Assist is funded by the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and will run from 2009 - 2012. Core research target is the development of a mobile platform for health support.

Graduate School The ISNM received a consulting contract to investigate possibilities for realizing a Graduate School in China in cooperation with the Graduate School for Computing in Medicine and Life Sciences in Luebeck.
