| Bio | A Roman Catholic priest from the Philippines, I am a journalist for the Church of Cebu. I write a weekly column in Ang Bag-ong Lungsoranon, (The New Citizen), the official religious newspaper of my Archdiocese. I have also initiated participatory communication projects, like grassroots video and participatory theatre on environmental issues, for rural youth empowerment. |
| Focus | I am interested in using ICT to increase the level of social awareness and develop the creative potentials of the poor and marginalized with the hope that they are better able to -read and write- (to borrow Freirean terms) their social reality. |
