Hubertus von Amelunxen has published widely books and articles in the fields of photography, media theory and post structuralism.
He has curated many international shows since 1989, among them "Photography after Photography" which toured in Europe and USA in 1995 and 1996.
Since 2000 he is Senior Consultant Curator at the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montréal and since 2002 Faculty member of the European Graduate School at New York/Saas Fee and of the HISK Higher Institute for Fine Arts, Antwerp.
He is addicted to mobility, communication and to the dignity of the human being and lives in Lübeck, in Paris and in Montréal.
In 2003 he was elected member of the Akademie der Künste in Berlin.
Hubertus von Amelunxen is the Founding Director of the ISNM and Professor for Cultural Studies since 2001. |
