This report presents the results of an empirical study aimed to create a better understanding on how potential mash-up business plans can be generated and described automatically. Fundamental to the study is the idea that to automatically generate potential mush-up business plans, we need to understand the current list of mash-up applications business potential and their involved data sources. Findings from this study support the argument and provide a framework to base the automatic generation of potential mash-up business plans.
